Advantages of migrating from magento 1 to magento 2

Is it really worth it? I assume it will take time, require investment, and will there be a guarantee that all data will be intact? What about the site design? Will it need to be completely redone and adapted to the new version?

It seems like there are more cons or rather problems and complexities than advantages. Although, you haven't listed any advantages here. Maybe there are actually far more advantages?

My opinion is that you should always use the latest version of the platform you’re working on. I manage an online store on Magento 2, and I had no doubts about migration magento 1 vers 2. Despite the potential challenges during integration, the benefits of working on the new version far outweigh them. The extended functionality for marketing campaigns alone has already paid off. Additionally, I worked with Amasty specialists who have extensive experience with Magento, so I wasn’t worried about things going wrong.
