Ku is a retired musician. He lives a dull but routine life. Ku's son and daughter-in-law are studying in the United States. For a short term research in East Germany, they send their son to live with his grandpa. It is now the proudest moment of Ku. Unexpectedly, he could not satisfy the grandchild's "American standard".
